PTM – Pc Tablet Module
The PTM facilitates a 2x operator setup. The 2x operator setup is preferred by many organisations dealing with complex and difficult operations. A two-operator setup means an extra pair of eyes and you get the possibility to discuss alternative approaches and facilitates detecting threats in the surroundings. The team can be divided into “Robot Operator” and “Sensor Operator”. The Robot Operator can focus on the PTM and use the RCM to manoeuvre the robot while the Sensor Operator concentrate on the sensors for optimal overview and faster operation. |
|
The PTM is a module that complement the OCM screen with an additional screen, a PC Tablet, that is prepacked with a tailored software to support the robot ordered. The PTM consists of the Rugged MIL-standard touch PC-Tablet, the height adjustable tripod with quick holder for the PC Tablet. The module also includes an extra pair of MIL-standard headphones and an intercom feature for seamless communication between the two operators and the robot. The PTM is connected to the OCM through a 10m LAN-cable. |

OFM – Optical Fibre Module
The OFM is an option to consider when working in environments where the radio communication is not possible due to environmental constrains or not allowed due to risks involved in the specific scenario. The module consists of a military graded automatic winding/unwinding system with 250m of optical cable. |
|
The OFM is mounted on the back of the robot, using a fast connection /disconnection system. The mounting and removal can be done in minutes by one person. When mounting the OFM, two fixed cables must be connected to the PCM (Platform Communication Module) of the robot. These replacing the connection from the radio module. This procedure makes it impossible to leave the radio on by mistake. When the OFM is correctly connected, it is physically impossible to activate the radio. |

OFM-X – Optical Fibre Module eXtended
The OFM-X complement the automatic optical fibre reel on the robot with a manually handled cable reel. The standard length is 400m per OFM-X (spec see above). |

TRM-X Transmitting/Receiving Module eXtra
The TRM-X is an upgraded and alternative antenna module for not only improving LoS and NLoS communication, but also gives new features that facilitates the operation. The TRM-X consists of a 2 to 5m high erectable antenna mast. In the top of the mast an antenna/camera module is mounted. The antenna/camera module is equipped with a pan/tilt function so that the module can be remotely operated from the OCM. The camera is aimed towards the robot by the OCM operator who can follow the robot approaching the area of operation. This gives the operator an overview of not only the robot, but also the surroundings that greatly facilitate the operation. The camera includes an optical zoom, giving the possibility for close monitoring for up to 1.000m LoS. The TRM-X is packed in a “peli” type of weather and impact protected case. TRM-X-A Is the automatic version of the TRM-X and is mainly for integration in solutions like the TMC – Transport and Maintenance Container or RTM – Remote Trolley Module. |

CCM – Control Chair Module
Is designed for optimal ergonomics and maximum performance. All controls and processing modules are integrated into the ergonomic chair and screens can be positioned in a flexible way depending on preferences of the end-user and space available. Right side picture showing a basic setup with industry standard, rugged, components, here with a 60cm deep table under the screens. The chair has numerous possibilities to adjust to fit the preferences and physics of most operators. |

CTM – Control Table Module
For the CTM, the control and processing modules are all integrated with a table instead of the chair. The functions are the same or very similar, but this module doesn’t give as much flexibility at installation and it is not possible to make any adjustments to optimize ergonomics. |
