System OPERATOR Modules:

TRM – Transmitting Receiving Module

Is communicating wireless (>1.000m) with the PCM onboard the platform. The TRM is located on the operators side, connected to the OCM with 10m cable to be able to position in the open for best transmitting still keeping the operator protected. The basic TRM is supplied with a tripod adjustable to max 3m height. Optional 5m antenna system can be ordered for improved reach and with the integrated pan/tilt camera with zoom function, giving the operator an overview of the robot and surroundings.

OCM – Operators Control Module

The OCM displays and controls the sensors onboard the platform, such as cameras. The military graded headphones, noise cancellation/sound enhancement, feeds audio information from the platform and allows for the operator to communicate with persons around the robot. The OCM is a rugged laptop fitted in a Peli type of case, also housing power pack for TRM and RCM. The laptop can be programmed for additional sensors and display of information, depending on today and future needs. To further support operation with two operators, an optional  military graded PC-tablet on separate tripod and additional headphones also providing intercom, can be ordered.

RCM – Remote Control Module

The RCM is the ergonomic hand-control, manoeuvring functions and tools of  the Platform.  The RCM also includes an LCD screen displaying advanced functions that can also be manoeuvred from the RCM or a similar display on the OCM. The RCM is connected with 10m cable to the OCM, but can  also  be connected directly to the platform for off/on-loading or other safe operations.
